Argentine tango is a beautiful, passionate, sophisticated dance that anyone can learn!
If you can walk,you can dance. The Taster Lesson is a FREE* one-hour exposure to
Argentine tango. Participants learn both the leader's and follower's steps to create
simple pattern.

No experience or partner required. Come have a good time!

all those who wish to experience a taste of Tango. Try the Taster sessions FREE* when
you take up our 6-weeks Absolute Beginners Course otherwise the session is £10

If Argentine Tango is for you and wish to take up the full course, simply register for the
Absolute Beginners Introduction Course which follows after the taster course and claim your
£10 discount from the £60 course fee.

• Introduction to the codes and the concept of Argentine Tango social dancing
• Posture, Embrace and Position
• Use of natural postures and movements of the body in everyday activities: standing, walking, turning.
• Balance and Weight change
• The lead and follow
• Basic steps and salida (Steps for the Leader/Follower)
• Walking to the music
• General floorcraft and navigation for social dancing (Line of dance)

You don't need dancing shoes but please bring leather-soled shoes or shoes with other smooth material,
this will help when turning. Women can bring high heeled shoes or other shoes that are comfortable but
also with leather soles or smooth materials.

We promise a fun and exciting time, but come with an open mind and a sense of humour.
